Default I would like to know things that I could do to my car that are not so expensive to make it go faster

I have a 2006 A4 1.8T automatic. I would like to know about any inexpensive things that could do to make it go faster. I was looking at the revotechnik.com page in order to put the chip tuning program on my car but it is too expensive it costs US$500 and that is money that I can't spend right now. Your feedback would be greatly apreciated. Thanks.

Default Chip is the only way

Then after that you spend more for getting more power down to the ground!

Default if you can't afford to buy a chip...leave that car alone.

These cars love mods, but you need to have the money to support them. Chip is a start, but it will also need a good DV, good fuel and synthetic oil. If you can't spare 500 bucks, you shouldn't be modding your engine.

Agree. $500 is about 20% what you'd need to spend on a BMW to get 50hp.

$30 bucks to go to your local autocross events to learn how to drive it faster/better.

Default Re: are you sure you have a 1.8t?

Yes I am sure that I have a 1.8T. It is a european model that comes to the dominican republic it has the same engine as the one from 2004 but it come with a better gear ratio for the transmission therefor making it a little faster than the previous model. And the car was given to me as a present from my father and I work and everything but I only win US$450 a month which wouldn't be enough money to buy a 500 dollar chip.
