Well in my other car..
In my honda i had it in the arm rest, it was out of the way and I controlled it via stereo controls.
In this car is there a place? I basically want it hidden all the time but also not a PITA to install.
I have never really looked around but is the glove box hard to get to after removing the HU? I wonder if I have enough cabling to do it

i picked this location because i wanna be able to change songs with ease... without looking.
The armest is ok, but you will have to open it to change songs and that may get annoying. The glove box is ok and should be very easy to reach but again how are you gonna change songs.
Thats why I have mine where it is... and when I get out of the car I tuck the wire away and its very clean and out of the way

With that I dont need to look at the ipod at all...hence me hiding never to be found.
(If your worried about me keeping it in negative temp conditions dont worry I work for apple..lol)

do radio controls work for the ipod on the b7... im not sure that they do on the b6
anyway if thats the case and radio controls work... id go for the glovebox... itd be really easy to get it over there

I had my iPod installed in the armrest of my B6 and it was great but I don't want to go through that hassel again. I would like to install it in the glove box in my B7 this time. If you do this can you post some pics or some info on the ease of install? Thanks

my mini is in belkin tunedok in front cupholder...
I had bought this for previous car thru newegg.com for under $20. I'm currently using Sony cassette adapter. I plan on getting the Ipod adapter cable if/when it becomes available. At that time, I will decide whether to keep it in glove box, or possibly look into the Kuda holder (although I'm concerned that the kuda may impede on the passenger legroom).
