Default Lot of engine vibrations 2.0t

I have a 08 a4 2.0t it has 158k miles on it, I literally haven’t had any problems in all my 40k miles of ownership. I maintain it regularly, change my oil every 3k miles. I was doing a couple pulls with my friend when my car begin to blow smoke and lose boost. I know that this is the turbo, it seemed to only do it when I get in the high rpm range. So I continued to do pulls and limit myself about 4500rpm. I let the car slowly decelerate on its own so I can hear some pops (the car is straight piped) then put it in neutral and did a few revs to about 2500rpm. I begin to accelerate (like a normal human being, regularly) and the car felt “boggy”. Literally the best way I can explain it and it sounds like a f*ckn diesel truck!!!! The idle is also extremely rough, there are no warning lights. It shakes extra hard when I turn the ac on. It doesn’t accelerate any differently other than when you first get on the gas. If I want to accelerate hard, it does it the same way it did before, it’s just now it vibrates like crazy. Do anyone have any knowledge on what can be wrong?

Turbo is shot and as such is lowering the oil pressure, chances are the oil pickup pipe is blocked or the oil pump has worn down to the point where the pressure is lowered.

Changing the turbo should be enough to sort it.

My 1.8T acted the same, clogged pickup pipe caused oil pressure to drop, hard driving killed the turbo.

replaced the oil pump and pickup pipe, still ran like cr4p, replaced turbo and no more severe tractor noise and ran perfect.

My advice:
Drop the sump and clean the pickup pipe mesh screen and replace the turbo.
