Miles to Empty Feature
Just bought 2005.5 A4 and wondering how to display to show miles till empty. I can see fuel mileage, trip nav., etc. Looked through the manual, but did not see how exactly to change. Any help is appreciated.

The stalk on the right side of the steering column just above the ignition

has two up and down buttons on the end. You can toggle through the features using either.
Atleast that's how it works on my '08.

Toggle Up & Down on the stalk to the right of the steering column
It sounds like you know how to switch from one Navigation to the Trip Computers. When on the trip computer, use the buttons at the end of this stalk to toggle up and down.
The 6 things that can be displayed on the trip computers are:
Fuel Economy (Instantaneous)
Miles Driven*
Fuel Economy (Average)*
Average Speed*
Distance to Empty
Time Driven*
* Displayed data that can be reset
If Distance to Empty does not show on the trip computers, you need to the menu and setup what you want displayed. In the setup menu, you can select what things to show for both trip computers. Trip 2 is only reset when you manually reset it. This is what I use for tracking fuel economy every tank and I reset it whenever I fill up. Trip 1 is reset when you start you car assuming it has been off for a certain amount of time (I think 2 hours). Good luck.
