Paint Care
Hey everyone-
Bought a silver CPO 2005.5 A4 2 months ago and absolutely love the car. It's my first Audi and will not be the last. I have picked up a few stone chips and notice a few very light scratches. You can't see the scratches unless you know where to look and stand an inch away. The scratches are very fine and I cannot feel them with a fingertip or nail. How should I fix this?
However, they are really pissing me off. How do you guys prevent scratches and chips or fix them? I get the feeling everyone else on here loves their Audi the way I do mine. I really don't want my paint looking like a used Honda Accord.
Any advice and experiences?

The Detailing forum can help, and you may want to search there a little first. Lots of things you can do, and what not to do. My advice is to not do anything yet. Take a step back and learn about a thorough detail: wash - then wax, water spot, and sap removal - then clay bar, wash, polish (non abrasive glaze), then wax. It'll look amazing for 4 hours of work and $40. Good luck.
