I'm just about to pull the trigger on a Brilliant Black '06 A4 3.2. The sales rep said he has two on the lot that meet my criteria, with the exception of one of my most important options: Parktronic. He told me he could look into having Parktronic installed by the dealer. But to show you how much he sounded like he knew, he also told me he has an Atlas Gray A4 ("It's just like Dolphin!") and Misano Red one too. *sighs* C'mon now. Is it possible to have Parktronic installed at my dealer? If it's not or it won't be OEM quality, I'll keep looking. If it is possible, I'll have the car tomorrow.

Parktronic requires a different rear bumper and a bunch of other things as far as I know.

i back into every parking spot i park in with my a4 i've never had a problem... these cars aren't so big and have pretty good visibility... frankly any cars i've driven with parktronic i've found it to be more annoying than useful

my dad's m3 was smg (which forced you to get parktronic it sucked!)

waste money and have unattractive circular sensors on your bumpers.

It won't help you park any better than the sensor in-between your ears.

There is no need for it. I'm sure they can install it but its most likely going to be expensive.

If it's something that you absolutely must have, then don't do without. Patience.

I had to learn that lesson when I ordered my B7. I wanted Bluetooth so I waited until 2006 was available. After I got my car, I forgot all about the wait.
