Default Passenger Mirror adjustment in reverse.

Does anyone know how to do this on a A4???
I know the S4 and the A6 adjust the passenger mirror down so you can see the curb when in reverse.
Is there some Vag-Com trick that can be done?
Help!

Thanks,

Vadim

I tried that. Nothing happened. I have a stick shift. Does that make a difference?

Default Do you have power folding mirrors?

Might also require seat memory. In the past these options have all been packaged together -- if so, then the 2007 2.0T might not have it anymore.

Default Shouldn't. Mine is a stick.

With the mirror controller set to the right mirror, when I shift into reverse, the mirror points toward the curb.

Default I have power folding mirrors and a 2.0T

and the feature doesn't work. I thought mine was broken and figured I'd talk to the dealer when I have the 5,000 mi service. It's a useful feature, so I'd love it to be simply user error or somethindg the dealer can fix. But if it simply isn't there, that would suck.

Default In the past this was something that didn't come on a manual tranny, but someone below has a stick

so I guess that doesn't matter anymore...

Default Just doesn't work!

I have the folding mirrors, but my ride is the 07 and I don't have the memory seats. I think that option just isn't there.
Does anyone have an 07 A4 that actually has this function working????

Default My guess is that it's tied to seat memory. If so, 2007 2.0T drivers are out of luck.

That makes sense since the car needs a system to store the position of the mirror, and in the past that system worked in conjunction with the system that saved the position of the seat.

When they took out the seat memory that probably included the ability to save the mirror position -- without that, there's no point in tilting it down.
