Default Problem with onboard computer

Hello, I have problem with onboard computer, every time when I starting of the engine fuel avarange start afresh so averange can't be very start afresh when you drive short distances.

Another problem with computer is that ill show the quantity of fuel tank. Computer shows me that tank is almost fuel, but in real tank is thin. In last 100 kilometres Fuel Index fell to the rear.

My car is Audi A4 2007 years 2 TFSI Quattro

Default Not sure what you mean by the average fuel consumption...

But you can clear out the average manually.

Isounds like that the fuel sender unit might be faulty if the needle does a drastic swing to the left for the last 100 km.

Very difficult to understand your questions. There are 2 data pages in the computer, first page resets averages each time you start the car, the second page maintains them.
I agree with Tanner that your fuel gauge issue is likely the tank sender. There have been similar problems on older generation Audi's, but this is the first report of seen of a problem on a B7.

Default Fuel gauge...

... more of a side discussion than anything else.

I know mine only shows 8/10 to 9/10 full when the tank was full. I had a vagcom tool handy and I did an adaptation on one of the channels when the tank was full and it didn't do anything. So I did the same when the tank was half-full, not sure if that was a smart idea or not, and the new value was 255 instead of 128. But I put 128 back in there.

At any rate, when I fill up now it's really close to showing full now, better than before. I do know that when I hit the right most red marker, I have ~10L of gas left in the car.

The dealer advised not adjusting the full reading since it messes up with the reading when the tank gets close to empty (hence why I filled up when the needle hit the right most red marker to find out how much gas was really left). Apparently they adjusted the gauge and some ended up running out of gas when the gauge indicated that they still had gas. It's a common problem in how the computer reads the two sensors and averages it out. It could be addressed in a firmware/ECU update but not sure if it ever will be addressed.

You understand my question well. I didn't know about 2 data pages, maybe you can say how to turn on second page?

Default Press the reset button under the wiper stalk briefly.

The page modes show up as a little 1 or 2 in the top right hand corner of the computer display.
