Replacing Conti Sport Contact 2's (235/45 R17 and posted same inquiry on Wheel & Tire forum)
I've read the tire reviews on Tire Rack and can't decide what to buy. I think these OEM tires handle and grip very well but am not crazy about the quick wear (22K). I thought they were a great tire. (They didn't rank at the top on Tire Rack, however). I think I'd like similar handling in an all season because the Contis are terrible in snow, and checked out the Michelin and Pirelli (had 1 bad experience with Pirellis on a 3 series). Please assist in this decision-making.

Are these Conti's a "Summer" tire? That would explain the horrible handling in the snow. Some popular All Season tires from members of this and other boards:
Performance:
Pirelli P Zero M&S
Pilot PS2 (make sure all season)
Snow performance:
Cont. ContiExtreme Contact (I personally have these and think they are great)
Budget:
Sumitomo HTR+ (Had these on my previous A4, surprisingly good performance for price.
