Default if you really like the 18'' wheels.

i don't care too much for the "body kit" and 18'' wheels don't do anything for me. so i got sports suspension. have 17s for winter and 19s for summer.

Default Yes, but Audi could have made it a better value ....

Instead of a completely different trunklid with integrated rear lip spoiler, they could have added a lip spoiler like on the B6 UltraSport A4. I also don't care for the various S-line badges on the outside and door sills or the stitching on the steering wheel. I do love the 18" 5-spoke wheels, the exterior body styling and prefer the brushed aluminum trim on the inside over the regular textured aluminum (even though I don't think this should cost any extra).

I think BMW gives you a lot more for the $1600 they charge for a 330i sport package (sport suspension, 18" wheels, sport steering wheel and sport seats). Audi's S-line would have more takers if it included sport seats.

Default I didn't get much of a discount on the car but they did take off $1500 on the s-line to sell a car

the car was already built and coming to the dealership unsold. It had everything I wanted plus S-line....so they discounted the package price to sell it. I was happy.

Default I very much agree.

My brother just bought a 325i Sport and Premium. It is much more of a value than the A4 Sline.

He is getting this car 1K cheaper and with a lot more standard equipment than the a4. The A4 I feel has priced itself out of the market. What happened to A4s?

I bought mine fully loaded for 28,000 tax and tag included 6 years ago.

Default Yes. The car is not near as attractive without the S-line.

Of course, this is kind of a redundant question, because all of the people who don't have it will say no, and those who have it will say yes.

Sline makes the car.
I would not have bought a standard A4.

Few will argue the visual impact of the SLine package. The grille, the dash, the steering wheel, shifter, wheels, bumpers, did I mention grille?, performance tires and rear lip spoiler. Those all add up to a BIG difference in the way the car looks.

Of course, it also comes standard with the sport suspension and 18" wheels, so it handles better too.

Don't forget to make it quattro and a 6 speed!

Default I agree. I would not have bought a B7 otherwise

I think the twin-spoke 17" wheels are a step back from the sportier looking B6 5-spokers. I also much prefer the front end of the S-line models with the grille shape and lower front bumper. The door blades I could have done without but I really dig my car's 18" wheels.

Default yes, yes, and yes

I get looks all the time and compliments. I love the wheels, suspension, and aluminum trim and I don't get all the whining about the lack of "sport" seats.. I love the seats....

Don't forget, the S-Line package includes a sport suspension.

Is it worth the $2750 extra I paid? Who cares? It's a leased car, so I'm paying ~35-40% of that cost. And with a 3.2, I won't be chipping. Supercharger anyone?

And I'm the ONLY B7 Avant with a 3.2 that I've seen in my area.. I've only seen one other B7 Avant (2.0)....(I did see a B7 S4 Avant, once, about a month ago).

The only thing is, that for $200 more a month, I could have had an S4.... but I love my car...

The ONLY thing I don't like about my car is the all-red tail lights. I know Euro tails are available, but no one knows how to code/wire them to work properly in a US car...

I like "lines".... my next Line will be a 2007 Saturn Sky Redline....... ;-)
