Leaving Fullerton saturday night heading down harbor blvd toward costa mesa, my friend w/08 acura TL and I pull up to a red light. As we are approaching, there is already a 03/04 COrvette z06 at the light. I change lanes to the right to then sandwhich the vette. So, at the line L-R its AcuraTL > Vette z06 > and Me AUdi A4 b7 little 2.0T. The vette roars its 400+hp, "UH OH!! here we go!!" I notice to my left that the TL is creeping forward trying to get the jump on the green light. I rev up to 2500rpm and the light turns green. I pop the clutch and floor it. I got the jump on both of them. I pull away through 2nd because the Vette is still burning out (the driver must have no racing experience) and I have about 2 lengths on the TL. Im pulling pretty hard as the TL is inching in closer as i get into 4th and the vette is just toying with us ofcourse. and then another red light. The vette calmly now pulls to my right but turns right. By now i am amped up and nod to the TL and he nods back. Let's do it again!! But then, i noticed some HID's approaching from the rear. My 1st guess was BMW, but as it got closer is see the Benz symbol. "great" i thought. he must have saw us flyin down harbor and wanted some action. It was a brand new black S550 with black rims. Freakin nice! New Line up TL > A4b7 > S550
Light turns green: once again i get the jump and pull away quickly. both cars are a car length behind me through 2nd. As i hit 3rd, the benz is pulling really strong and eventually passess me. The TL is once again catching little by little and finally we're even and it starts to ull stronger than my a4, but then we approach a right curve and i know my a4 can handle it so i continue to floor it with the TL slightly ahead, but he lets off on the curve and end up pulling away through the curve and the i see a cop........hehehehe good times!!

chip,cai,pulley,and tp and i WALK the living sh*t out of manual tl's. the new body style..im dying to race a type s tl the 3.5 liter 389hp one because i left the 3.2 liter one hard..dig and from a roll..stock for stock i would believe a tie but a k04'd 1.8 cant beat a tl? thats like 215whp on the audi..

not trying to be a b1tch here, but i have to say i get a little annoyed reading these posts. cops are out hounding every person with a modded car these days, respectable or not.
