Steering Problem
Just begun to get an awful noise from the steering column three days ago. It comes on for the first 5 minutes or so of driving and then seems to go away. Awful scraping/hizzing noise when you turn.
Seems like I might have run out of steering column fluid. The car has 7,500 miles and just had its "5,000" check-up a month ago though, so it seems odd to me that I would be having any problems.
Anyhow, plan on taking it to the dealer (New Country in Greenwich, CT) tmrw and wanted to get some input from the folks on the forum - advice, complexity of procedure, costs...
