How sensitive is the quattro system to matching of tire tread depth? I know some Volvo's and Subaru's are very sensitive. I see that when I Google. However, I see little or nothing about the quattro on this subject.

I had to replace one tire when my car had 10k (it now has 15k) and the new tire and spare are on the front. The rear tires have about 7/32" left while the front have about 9/32".

The manual does not give any type of spec for this.

Does anyone know if this is really an issue and if so how close to the tread depth have to match?

Searching plus I think it's in the owner's manual.
