torque steer problem

That's pretty much commen with all cars with driven front wheels unless you change the diff.
Even in AWD cars you have to hold on when starting out or it's going to grab a ridge in the road and follow along.

One of the many problems with FWD is understeer, which is the worst. that is one of the problems with an everyday 4WD even our stupendous Quattro's do it, personally I'm a RWD guy but for a street car I don't want something that is going to egg me on, because knowing I can snap the back out when ever I want is no good for me I'm still not adult enough to keep myself from that enjoyment/stupidity. That's my reason for getting a Quattro but I will never buy myself a FWD car EVER!!!

The A4 has equal length driveshafts and
the suspension is specifically designed to prevent torque steer.
I am really not seeing how you have torque steer.
Cars like the A3 or TT or other cars with transverse engiens that have unequal length driveshafts suffer from torque steer. But really I have never heard a complait about it on a longitudinal car ever.
That being said I've driven 400+ whp FWD cars and not hd a problem with torque steer.. I don't notice it in any of my cars which make 300+ft/lbs of torque and are transverse, just hold the wheel right and its gone

First I wanted a stick and they dealer only had a base model with stick. Not many dealers order loaded models with six speeds. Second the car is chipped so more power. I also have 18" wheels. My tire guy says that wheels do have an effect so I will try a different size tire to see if that helps.
I am used to rear wheel and 4 wheel drive vehicles, haven't had a fwd in 20 years.
