Is it true that a DV is all I'd need to fix this:
Here is the error code I keep throwing since I was APRed. Doesn't happen in stock, only in 93 octane. Granted it is summer time in GA, so it is hot..
000665 - Boost Pressure Regulation: Control Range Not Reached
P0299 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded - Intermittent
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 00100010
Fault Priority: 0
Fault Frequency: 6
Mileage: 32186 km
Time Indication: 0
Freeze Frame:
RPM: 4882 /min
Load: 90.2 %
Speed: 140.0 km/h
Temperature: 88.0°C
Temperature: 32.0°C
Absolute Pres.: 990.0 mbar
Voltage: 13.716 V
The APR guys said I'd just need a new DV, and that it would be a warranty item. I went to the dealer, and they wanted to keep the car like a week, and authorize diagnosis on it. Jim Ellis was backed up, so they also said it would be a few days before they could work on it. The service rep asked if I was flashed, I said no, and he said ok good, the 1st they they do is reflash the ecu and try to reproduce the problem. I needed to go home and visit my parents, and was planning on changing my oil in my dad's new shop (he has a car lift now). So I told them that I didn't want to leave the car with them right now.
I just was wondering if this code is infact "normal" on flashed cars, and that a DV is all that I need to fix this. If not, are there other parts I should look into replacing?
What DV do y'all reccomend?
Thanks!
