Weekend project... Painted Calipers

Weekend project... Painted Calipers
So over the long weekend I decided to paint the front and rear calipers. Long story, but I could only do one set at a time (fronts then rears), so I ended up using two different types of paint.
Fronts were done with G2 caliper paint, while the rears were Dupont caliper paint. Both ended up looking the same when completed, but from an application standpoint, the G2 paint was MUCH better to work with. It is thicker and required only 2 coats to the 4 required by the Dupont because it was so thin and runny.
I will try to put together a DIY from the pictures that I have over the next week. It is a great cosmetic mod to do over a weekend for $40. Here are the results...

Please post that DIY when you get a chance...
Thanks in advance!
I plan on going with something like gun metal gray, dark gray or black...nothing glossy or at least nothing too flashy.

Just did the same mod, but a bit different......See pics.
I used the $15 Duplicolor paint from Kragen, but left some of the pieces silver for contrast.
I like the way yours turned out, looks good!

Meh. Not feeling it.
I feel that red is reserved for BBKs. In my town every riced out Civic has red calipers with peeling paint.
If you paint calipers on an Audi your best bet is to go black (hides brake dust better as well).

I did it with no stickers - I know some don't approve..

... but I wanted a color contrast to the rest of the car, with silver and black. I figure that people who actually care what BBK's are, will know I don't have them, so I'm not trying to fool anyone. The B7 brake calipers are large enough that it looks good to me - my B6 Avant 1.8T had small front calipers and 11.0 inch rotors, so painting those would have just pointed out how inadequate they were for the car.
