Hello Everyone, I have 2009 2.0t a4 quattro auto trans, and the transmission has been downshifting hard into 2nd gear from 3rd it pretty much clunks into it, every other gear shift is smooth even 2 to 3 upshift. Any suggestions on this? I have tried lubegard shudder fix, and also seen a audi tsb on a software update on a 2-1 shudder and had audi update the tcm. But no fix

I lived with this for almost 2 years, I found keeping pressure on the brake pedal all the way until stopped would stop it from happening on my 09 Avant.

Most likely this is a solenoid issue inside the transmission valve body so short of a valve body rebuild where they can check solenoid performance there is not much you can do.
