Actually, according to Consumer Reports (or CR for short), the bad Audis (2001 to 2010) in order from worst to least bad are:
1. 2001 to 2005 A6 AllRoad
2. 2001 to 2004 A6
3. Q7 4.2 (3.6, 3.0T and 3.0TDI are okay)
4. 2004 A8L 4.2
5. 2005 A8 4.2 and A8L 4.2
6. 2002 to 2005 (excluding 2005.5) A4
7. 2004 and 2005 (again, excluding 2005.5) S4
8. 2009+ TT
9. 2008 A3
These are the only bad Audis from 2001 to 2010 with enough data for CR to rate.
