AMI Problem
Overall I'm very pleased with the AMI system for my iPod but i've had a problem a few times where I'll turn the car on (after a short stop, after having driven the car that day) and the AMI will say initializing but will never load, and the Audi symbol doesn't show up on the iPod. Even if I turn the car on and off, unplug the iPod, turn the iPod on/off, completely restart the iPod, or reconnect the AMI cable it won't load! Then I give up and after another start/stop of the car it'll decide to load...what's going on? And it always seems to happen when I'm showing someone my car for the first time "and it even has full iPod integration...well it's not working right now but I swear" :/

Didn't know you could reset it...
i'll have to check that out, I use the newest version of the Classic iPod (can't keep track of the generations anymore)...it's happened every couple of weeks though and its very frustrating. Thanks for the tip-

If I'm wrong about the reset in the menu, check out this link..
Resetting your ipod with a hard reboot might help as well.
