Default Brake Rotors...art project?

So I got my front brakes done at the Dealership 3 weeks ago.. I asked them to save the rotors because I was thinking of doing an art project for them... since I was in the process of moving to a new state.

Beyond a clock...can't think of anything else.. and I'm not sure I want a 15 lb. clock on the wall anyway.

Any ideas?

I have an articulated desk lamp that clamps on the edge of the work bench, but it seemed like it was always just out of reach of the job at hand. I mounted the lamp base in one of the wheel stud holes and now I can put the lamp anywhere. The rotor will not allow it to fall over.

Three out of four say its very clever. The fourth asks if that is a brake rotor.

gunsmoker, lol thanks.

The lamp base is a good idea... I was thinking about building an industrial looking lamp. A lot of my furniture isn't matched though.. so I was looking to get rid of some of it and start an industrial theme..

lol. I'm not much for art projects.. but this is the first place I've lived in the last 10 years that isn't temporary (guaranteed move in a year), so I'd like to add personality.
