In order to use the app, you need a WiFi ELM327 device, which you can get from Amazon or other retailers. We've provided some sample links here: Hardware | Carista OBD2 - Vehicle Diagnostics and Customization

We're constantly adding new customizable settings for the Audi A4 B8 and the available ones differ based on the exact year, model, options, market, etc.; that said, here's a sample list of things that Carista can configure for a specific 2013 Audi A4 (UK model):

Fantastic this has finally become official! So for $19.99 we download the Pro App in order to make coding changes, then another $16.99-$29.99 for the ELM327 connector. All in that's ~$50.00!

I just downloaded the App and need to pick up a WIFI ELM327. What's the advantage with the more expensive version you listed, looks like it's faster?

The main advantage of the iKKEGOL one is that it has a power button and a proper sleep mode - so it doesn't drain the battery if left plugged in. Performance-wise, I think they're all pretty much the same.

P.S. Do you also have a BMW E92 (judging from your user name)? I'm asking because we're currently testing BMW functionality in the app and we're looking for beta testers. I'll let you use the app for free if you agree to test on the BMW. Thanks in advance.

Got it! Yes, I do have a 2013 E92 M3. I'd be happy to test it out, just let me know what to do. Do I need a new adapter or will the iKKegol work for the Audi and the M3? I do have some expereince in my younger days with beta testing on Nissans using UpRev's software if that helps.

And... I'm not a hippie or a hipster if that makes a difference.

Not yet. That version is the official release (even though it says "beta"). We're going to release a new update with a bug fix ASAP, but it's not going to have any new features.

When there's a new update to our app on Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, the "what's new" section will say that there are new customizations available.
