Code to Enable Trip Computer in A4 Premium

I have unsuccessfully searched this site for the code to enable the trip computer (especially digital MPH) for an 2010 A4 Premium (without the MMI). I do not have the switch on the wiper stalk and do not really want to purchase and install one. I know I read on one of the forums that recoding could be done but I can't find it. Could someone point me in the right direction. Also, if anyone knows someone in the Northern Virginia area who can do this, could you let me know.

17 Instruments, Byte 1, bit 2

56 Radio, Byte 9, bit 6

In order to get digital speedo, you need to retrofit stalks with the trip control buttons...

Hi, Can you please explane this more for me. I would love to add this to my Audi. I just don't understade what all this means.

He is referring to the steps you'll need to take in VCDS in order to enable the trip computer. VCDS is the software that accompanies the VAG-COM cable that's used to change various settings in VAG cars (VWs, Audis, Seats, Skodas, etc). You'll need to get one of these cables or find someone or a some shop that has one in order to enable the trip computer.
