I've found with the B8, I tend to need to turn it up a littler higher in the summer compared to the winter. The B8 doesn't seem to turn the fan up as high initially when it's hot in the car, but also doesn't turn it down low enough once it's caught up. But in the winter I am enjoying the fact that both the engine and seat warmers seem to heat up faster. The former probably due to the smaller 4 cylinder engine, and the latter probably due to the lighter alcantara material vs. the full leather I had in the B5.

I do not disagree at all. I'm glad someone else sees my point.

To this day, when I get into my B5 S4 I still get folks who say "wow, this a/c just works!". The programming is flawless and the air output is colder than anything I've had since.
