Default My thoughts. . .

This deal should be the same, in my opinion, with 12K miles, not 10K miles.

The fact that it is for 30 months makes me wonder WHY not 36 months (and I would assume a miles per year that would equate to at least 1,000 per month) with a lower price per month?

Overall, since it is for 30 months, I like the deal, IF it is increased to 12K miles/yr equivalent.

Default let me explain my thoughts.

I actually asked for the 10k and 30 months from the start my reasoning is as follows:

my current lease is a 30 month, right about the 16 month mark I usually get bored with my car and start thinking of "what's next' i would really like a 24 month lease but the payments are usually too high so I settle for 30.

as for the 10K vs 12k We have 3 cars in the family so I only have 13,000 miles in 16 months on the current car the B8 will replace

Default Why $2100 due at signing if no cap reduction and no 1st payment?

In CA, the drive-off for such a deal would be less than $500 (just DMV fees and registration). Does your state charge you full sales tax on the price of the car for a lease? In CA, you pay a monthly use fee which is the sales tax computed on your monthly payment.

Also, if you are leasing for 10K miles per year, your residual should be higher by a point compared to a 12K/year lease. Make sure you are credited this point.

In NY you pay the sales tax upfront even on lease, so you either pay or roll them into the cap...

Default correct

you only pay tax on the portion of the lease, unlike TX where you pay tax on the total value of the car
