I just jumped on the B8 band wagon.
I stumbled on a deal I just couldn't possibly pass up.
'09 A4 3.2 Quattro Tip Prestige
Brilliant Red on Cardamom Beige
Ash Almond trim
Audi Drive Select and Nav with rear camera
Only 600 miles.
I paid just under $35,000.
I bought it from a large VAG/Audi wholesaler about 200 miles north of me.
The car had been damaged on the right side during transit. It was professionally repaired and auctioned off.
I carefully inspected the car. The repair was invisible to anyone without a paint meter. It drove perfectly.
It has a clean title, carfax and full factory warranty until Sep 2012.
$14,500 under MSRP. I keep waiting for the cops to show up and slap the cuffs on me.

Yup. It was pure luck and timing.
The real irony is that I ended up paying only $869 more than I paid for my '05.5 2.0T Quattro Tip 4 years ago.
That blows my mind.

u sure it wasn't one from the recent Diablo Audi (concord, CA) vandalism fiasco?
not that there's anything 'wronger' with that....as long as the repair was good and the price was better!

Carfax shows it was originally serviced at Jim Ellis Audi in Atlanta.
The right quarter panel was replaced during the repair which triggered a unibody statement at the auction.
That originally gave me pause, but inspection shows it's good as new and the price was very, very right.
I think the fact that there is NO established auction market for the '09 A4s worked in my favor. The wholesaler I bought it from "stole" it first at auction so he was able to let me steal it and still make a profit.
He's got 200 late model VWs and Audis on his lot. Looking at the comps, he had to price it like that because his '08 A4s are priced FAR less. He had it priced with his '08 A6 3.2s.
We're both happy.
