podcast problem with MMI 3G and iPhone 4
I have a 2010 A4 with the 3G MMI and navigation. Recently, the MMI screen has been mixing up the podcasts on my iPhone 4 (with iOS 6.01). For example, the podcasts from one source (say, Marc Maron's WTF) are now listed under the heading for a different source (NPR Fresh Air). Each podcast episode has its correct title and plays fine through the Audi system.
Some of the podcast sources aren't showing up at all on the Audi screen. However, on the phone, all of the podcasts appear in the correct order under their appropriate sources.
I have tried rebooting the Audi system, rebooting the phone, re-syncing my phone with iTunes--none of these things solve the problem. Has anyone else had this happen?
[follow-up: Today I downloaded another podcast to the phone via WiFi. When I got back to my car, the podcast I had been listening to earlier today, which had been listed under the wrong source, was now listed twice--under the wrong source and under the correct one. I played both, and they were obviously the same digital file, since each of them picked up where I had left off earlier today. When I looked back at the MMI's podcast list after that, everything was in its rightful place and no podcasts were double-listed]

I had similar problems with an iPhone 5 and an Infiniti that replaced it in 2013. Now I have an iPhone 6+ and a 2015 Impreza--the same problems are there. This would suggest that the problem is more likely with iPhone(s) instead of the Audi. The only one of the Audi problems that didn't persist with other cars was the double listing of podcasts.
