Default SHOPPING LIST for a B8 with Major Oil Consumption Issue

I have an 2011 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro and it has been verified that it has the Oil Consumption Issue. I was instructed by Audi USA by a lady in AudiCare to visit the dealership and to have them run a test. I paid $125 for the test to be ran and I was to return as soon as the oil light came back on. Well it did. The service guy wrote it up as 7.4 Quarts every 1K miles. I did have to put in a quart a day. They told me that they would support the information to AudiCare and they would make a determination. At that time, I was over the 80,000 miles based on the case-action lawsuit, but the lady mentioned that they would have a panel look over it and make a determination.

THE DAY that it was announced that VW was going to have to buy back/recall the vehicles due to DieselGate, they called me and told me that I had too many miles and that the class-action lawsuit stated they were only responsible for up to 80K. I told them in the beginning that I was the second owner and that I had purchased the vehicle at 79,900 and just found out about the oil consumption. Anyway, they got another $125.

I called back into the dealership and I was told that it would be roughly $4000-$6000 to resolve the issue with pistons being $400/each and the other necessary parts.

So here is the deal...

I want to do this aftermarket. I have only started researching what I might need and things are vague. At this point, the car does not run. Two of the spark plug wells fill with oil and then causes it to go into a limp home, shaking mode, and the CEL indicates misfires.

I feel that enough people have had this issue. I feel that there has got to be a "Shopping List" out there. Can someone help a sister out?

I so far have seen that CP Pistons has a set with rings and wrists pins. I ran across headbolts from RaceWare. I found a time quote of 28.8 labor hours to overhaul.

In my past life, I rebuilt a 1993 Honda Prelude VTEC (H22) with Nitrous and Modified a GReddy Turbo Kit. So I am not scared. . I would just like to build this car stronger than Audi.

Please and Thank You!!!

I think you have set a new record for the worst consumption posted!
This isn't a DIY, but this thread will give you some info on rebuilding. Another option is is to swap the engine with a newer model used engine. A number of people have done this.

I'd rather source a not high miles CPMB motor (auto tranny) or CAED motor (CVT/manual tranny) from the 2014-2016 B8.5 vehicles (A4/A5/Q5) and swap that in than do the costs to rebuild a 2011 CAEB.
But if you're looking to rebuild the CAEB block from the ground up for more hp, guess doing it from scratch is the way to go. I'd guess the block and the crank are the only two parts of the CAEB that don't fail eventually.
You'll find more tuning/rebuilding activity over on audizine.com than here these days.
