Side Assist System Fault

My A7 had a side assist failure and I had to take it to the dealership to reset. It does not workt he majority of the time and I can not depend on its accuracy. I called Audi Corporate and talked with a customer advocate about 5 times. The bad part, no one knows when those in Germany will get around to writing software to fix this. I never expected this type of answer from Audi.
I must say how they handle this will dictate what I buy at the end of this lease. I love Audi, but if it takes an unreasonable amount of time to write a software fix, then Mercedes here I come
