they have a 5 month deal that is less expensive than the year for 77 - just ask for that - I can't remember exactly how much it was - but i think $20. The only thing you have to remember is to call before the 5 months are out, or you are automatically renewed at the normal (more expensive) rates.

Just saw this on a deal forum:
http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthr...id=0&t=2193535

I am myself on a $20 for 5 months deal until November so I didn't try it.

Thanks - this phone number did the trick. I got the $77 for 12 months plus fees for a total of $88.78. I had been calling about 10 other Sirius phone numbers and spoken to supervisors, etc. and couldn't get anywhere until calling this number. Without me even asking for the $77 plan she said I was eligible. Thanks.

Talked to "Peggy" and he arranged it for me. God I hate Sirius.

I renewed in August and they offered me $20/5months or $54.60/1year. I took the 1year deal.

My trial subscription ended 2 weeks ago and I just got the $77 renewal offer today for Sirius Everything (no traffic)...haven't called yet, but the letter says to call: 800-869-5059.

I didn't receive the offer in the mail but I called that number and was given the $77 renewal price (+ tax) right off the bat. No problem.

I'll never renew. The sound quality is horrible.

The $77 became $94.99 after $11.99 music royalty charge (the Sirius rep said this was required by federal law/requlation?) + sales tax....still not a bad deal, provided Howard Stern renews his Sirius contract!
