think I found my answer, Intermediate Steering Shaft someone said in another thread....

also read others sprayed something called Seafoam deep creep into the jojnts which seemed to fix issue (at least for now it seemed)

Hi all - had this exact issue crop up on my 2014 A4. Cranking the wheel all the way to the right (while parked of course) and spraying Seafoam Deep Creep into every joint I could see in both front wheel wells, then doing the same thing with the steering wheel cranked all the way to the left solved the problem; the steering is as smooth as butter now. Don't shy with the Deep Creep, I used an entire can's worth.

Hello all,

My steering is stiff and sometime it goes to normal steering, but very seldom is it normal. I bought a 2003 with 85k on it and the steering was stiff from day 1, this also the first German car I have ever owned so I though is was normal until 5 months after owning the car the steering worked normal for a few miles.

Fluid is full, I also had the drive belt and the water pump replaced which I do not think that would have anything to do with it. The car is solid and I just want to fix.

At what point will Audi take responsibility for the many complaints about steering locking up. And incidents happen whether it's cold outside or not. Will it take a number of deaths before the realize the problem is Audi's not the owners.

The next message will be to the Press and flood social media if no response and accountability from. AUDI.

I will personally guarantee the word spreads about Audi's failure to own up to their problem and issue a recall notice post haste.

Good luck with your venture but unless there are significant reports of this problem your efforts will fall on def ears. My Kid has not experienced this problem on the 4 Audi's owned. Now has a 2015 A4 with 60K miles on it.

Hi Wolywood, how many kms/miles on your A4 when you started to have this issue. I have an A4 with 175,000 kms and have started the same issue with my steering wheel.
