Hello all,

Unfortunately the clutch has recently failed on my 2014 A4 Avant (2.0 Diesel, 6-speed Manual, 163bhp) and I am seeking some advice on the cost of repair. Engine code CNHC.
I have had quotes from two local garages so far;

The general garage has quoted £2766 inc VAT and claimed that there are no aftermarket flywheels available, so it's an OEM part at £1200+VAT.
The Audi specialist has quoted £2480 inc VAT, including an aftermarket flywheel at ~£1000+VAT as part of that.

Looking at Autodoc / Euro car parts etc it appears there are aftermarket flywheels available for ~£600 including VAT... I'm just wondering if anyone has experience of what this should cost, and if I'm missing something when finding much cheaper parts available online?

The OE p/n for your application is 0B2 105 266 AC. It's a 280mm unit made by LuK. But that's a complete drop in replacement unit for the entire dual-mass flywheel and clutch module. If you're just looking for a service kit to replace the clutch plate and SAC (self-adjusting clutch) pressure plate, the online ETKA clone sites do not elaborate any 0B2 198 xxx part numbers (98 is the Audi specifier for "repair kit", 1 is the group specifier for engine). That revision AC unit is specific to the CHN 2.0 TDI engine.

LuK is a part of Schaeffler, same as INA. https://aftermarket.schaeffler.com/e...?q=0B2105266AC But no results. Still, you might try and contact LuK directly to see if they have what they call a RepSet for that unit.

As for third-party options, no idea. You'd have to come to an actual p/n, Audi or LuK, for the clutch plate and the SAC pressure plate to start looking around.
