Could someone help me with coding the STG09 controller. It is about additional interior lighting (white) that was not factory installed. I installed the footwell light, the cup holder light and the tunnel light. I'm stuck on coding. I will be grateful for your help. Mathew

In the BCM control unit address (09 / central electrics), activate bit 0 and 1 in byte 10.

after it is in 5F then adaptation (10) to activate the option on the MMI it seems to me you have 4-5 step to do to activate and deactivate certain line

Thanks for answer. Your adwice work for me.
But works only footwell lights..maybe cup holder and background lights need more coding or i conected something wrong to BCM, i dont know..
In 5F module/adaptations i activated :car_function_adaptations_gen2-menu_display_ambient_illumination.
Whats 4-5 steps you talking about?
Now via MMI in car options i have "ambient lights" function but is disabled.

Has anyone found coding to allow HBA to remain active after a re-start?
In other words, retain it's last setting?
It's kind of annoying to have to push the stalk forward at night, every time you start the car, being as we already have a checklist to get it into our various preferred modes...

I finished the first stage of backlight.


At the moment I connect the door lighting. I need to code the rear / front door controler in:
-door entry lights
-ambient lighting
-door warning lights
-interior door handle illumination
Can Anyone help?

Anyone had luck coding Smartphone Interface for Apple Carplay use?
I think in this thread I only found some mentions, but not sure if it was done also.

So threads like this or this have attended the coding, but no final conclusion if it worked in the end.

I've tested some coding in my a4 avant tdi V6, some are working, some are not. I'm using obdeleven pro, and the tests are in progress.

- acoustic lock/unlock: via app and via long coding, but is not working because it's related to the lack of the antitheft system.
- scandinavian DRLs: OK
- comfort turn signal: from 3 to 5, OK
- door open chime, while the engine is on: the coding wasn't successful, but I discovered that you can use the back button on the steering wheel to turn it off (while the door is open).
- ACC distance menu: OK
- ACC driving program: OK
- oil temperature display on dashboard (numbers): long coded in module 17, but not working. also in adaptation is not working.
- volume to be replenished (diesel): long coded on module 17, but not working
- HUD sport mode: activated, but i need to test it
- google maps without audi connect subscription: OK (but with inner SIM data usage)
- if AC is on, start and stop does not kick in: OK
- automatic handbrake when car is turned off: not working.
- laptimer and stats: OK
- g-meter: it's active, but of course will not work. just for fun.
- waiting for the new auto-hold switch and wires to code it, with long coding.
- need to test the adblue level on MMI: coding in progress.

i tried to enable the "one-tap"/motorway signaling option on the MMI...
the option does not show up even after 3-finger resetting the MMI...

funny think is on the golf mk7 and jetta mk6, it can be toggled on and off directly from the MFI it self..
