they weren't disabled there was an error in the software that could cause them to go out if you locked the car with the parking lights on.

To turn off the side marker:

09 - Central Electrics
Long Coding->Byte 06->Uncheck Bit 4

If you have OBDEleven you can just go into Coding and the option label is sidemarker-via-lcm and just deactivate it.

Oh okay. I thought it was disabled in the fist few batches.

I wonder if it would be possible to mod the sound settings? I have the standard 8 passive speakers and the soundsettings are onky bass ans treble and they dont adjust very well. Do people with extra speakers get more options?

Hi guys,
wondering if anyone has been able to figure out how to get more map directions on the virtual cockpit on our A4.
on the screenshot below, a TT virtual cockpit displays the next steps for turning with the name above the rpms. The MMI shows this information but the cockpit doesn't on the a4. Anyone know if it's possible to achieve this via coding to get this?

thanks

Not sure how to activate that but I'm sure the TT gets this level of detail since there is no second center screen option in the TT for MMI or any other functions.

It is different software and not code-able, same to the S/RS lines VC sport layout.

Oh okay. I thought it was just different coding. I guess we won't be able to get the sport view too. The tachometer in the middle in red.

Default Google maps activation with VCDS

Has anyone successfully activated Google Maps in a Canadian-spec car using VCDS? Thanks.
