Default Aftermarket Wireless CarPlay Module?

I have a 2020 and am considering buying an aftermarket module to convert my CarPlay to wireless. Anyone have experience here, and have any recommendations?

It takes about 10-15 seconds to connect when I start the car. Switching apps on screen looks normal. Apps load okay. Music plays without problems. Phone calls are okay. Response seems unchanged when I press the steering wheel button for Siri commands.

just FYI, i have a car with the audi wireless carplay, and it takes 10-15 seconds to fully connect as well. so thats pretty normal.

Carry on.

The dealer gave me a 2021 A4 Premium Plus loaner car with it and I liked it. I had to get it in my 2017.

I have bad cell signal in my home area so I have to do my Waze navigation on my home wifi before I get into my car. Wireless Carplay disconnects from my home wifi and uses it for phone to car communication.

I have the Carlinkit in my 2017 A4 and it works pretty seamlessly about 80% of the time. On occasion I have to manually connect it from my phone when it fails. Other than that, no real complaints with it.

bought the module on ebay that you connect to the usb port. It is good, no cutoff. Does what it says. what i notice is that the sound is actually louder using the wireless carplay vs the factory bluetooth.

i guess it's the input volume for bluetooth (in (BT) media, right menu > input volume)
