Is it wet or does it just feel slightly "greasy" when you touch it?
Have you recently had an oil change, if so it's possible that a small amount of oil was dropped and then wiped up which would leave it looking like that. It has happened to me several times over the years with vehicles from various brands..

From the pic (which we know can be deceiving) to me it doesn't look wet, it looks like something was wiped clean from the area in question. However, if you want you can remove the filter cover with a T25 torx bit and check the condition of the filter and housing. Or just stop by your dealer and have them take a look since you only have approx 3,000 miles on it.
