Default Audi A4 interior clone on a Chinese SUV

I fell down a social media hole as I sometimes do on weekends and came across a Chinese SUV that caught my eye on my explore feed which is mostly cars. The car is called the Jetour X70SEV. I was a little intrigued as I'd never seen one before. I searched the web for more images and came across interior photos of the vehicle. While the car is an SUV and the exterior is in no way similar to an Audi A4, the interior is so extremely similar. At first I was thinking, the designers were probably inspired by Audi design. Then I took a closer look and realized the interior looks like a ripoff B9 A4. The air vents, the screen, the climate controls, door handle area, steering wheel controls all look like they were trying to emulate an Audi interior. I just thought y'all would find this interesting.

It also looks just like my wife's 328i. At the scale of these photos, I suspect many cars would look similar.

Are the pictures not showing up well on you're end because I can see them perfect fine.

Look at the air vents, climate controls, door trim and screen placement

They definitely ripped off the A4. I wonder if it has a virtual cockpit? I like the seats, btw.

And if you tried to sue them in Chinese court they would have no idea what similarities you are talking about.

It sounds like he lost a lot of intellectual property.

I am not sure how many cars you have driven. Pretty much any car nowadays have more or less the same basic design. There are only so many places you can put the info screen, cupholders, vents etc. I can count more than a dozen cars that have interior that look "similar".

Until you crashed it into something and then discovered that the copying was only skin deep, if you survive that is.

I’ve worked at multiple car dealerships. I currently work for 3 so I’ve driven many different cars. I can say without a doubt that there are striking similarities in both cars that lead me to believe that this is not a coincidence. Interestingly, the company I work for is in the stages of launching a new dealership called Exeed. It’s a Chinese brand and we will be the first dealer on the east coast. After doing some research I found out that Chery is the parent company. They also own this car. Upon doing some research I found that they have been guilty of copying many other brands in the past
