B9.5 - Rear Seat Latch/Lock Rattle
I have a 2023 A4 and have been dealing with a rattle on the rear passenger's seat since day 1.
I isolated the rattle to the rear seat latch and I can solve it by jamming some cardboard into a gap on the release lever. The cardboard is putting some tension on the lever, but not enough to release the latch. It works, but it would be nice to have a permanent solution.
I was going to pull back the fabric on the back of the seat to try to access the guts of the lever, but in looking at a picture of the assembly, I'm not sure I can even access anything. It's got to be a cable or loose plastic piece that's able to move too much.

Has anybody come across this and figured out a solution?

Rather than cardboard, try the furry portion of a strip of velcro - the fur is soft enough to reduce vibration but not so hard to make unlatching difficult. I've used it on my Avant rear seat latches - I stuck my piece to the latching pin though.

There should be rubber bumpers somewhere that keeps tension on the latch to prevent rattles.
Perhaps a shim behind a bumper will help.
I've done this on old GM cars back in the day as they were notorious for rattles everywhere.
