Coding for turning on Audi Active Lane Assist (all cars with pre sense)
#201
Ignore above. Found menu, updated the STA bit, and all works perfectly with menu clearly visible and no more fault codes. Did not see it on the bottom the first time around.
Setting it to late made the experience even better!(for my driving preferences)
Sorry for confusion. Thanks again.

HEX-CAN is tricky to use with the MLBevo, even with the newest firmware, if you are on VCDS 16.8 or newer the controller should at least show up though.

Yea i'm using 16.8.3 i think, but the problem is the Canadian spec cars don't come with Audi Pre Sense City, all the US cars come with it standard. Just wondering if any canadian owners had some sort of workaround (if one exists)

You need the camera for this to work. Your car can't see lane lines without a camera.

Yes i know, but which camera specifically? I think i see a camera behind the rear view below the rain sensor, and I have the parking cameras on the grille, under the mirrors, etc. Not sure if maybe something else needs to be activated on the canadian cars before we can go into A5 to make changes.

Canadian spec cars have different trim names than the Us cars. Mine is a Technik, which is roughly equivalent to a prestiege, but I have to see if I have that camera. Thanks for the pic!

Good news, I got my side assist error to go away be deactivating the lane change assist setting. Lane assist functionality is still working, but now no error on start. Those without the tech package now have an error-free solution.
