I purchased the one recommended by Mitch and got it for $60 thru eBay (new), it is the BLU R1 HD. You can get it for $50 if you have Amazon Premier thru Amazon, otherwise regular price is $100 for non Premier customers.

Finally got it working! Thanks to someone on another forum we found out that I also had to change the following:

In module A5, I also had to change byte 1 from 8D to AD.

@Mitchfin thanks for your great effort, got laneassist working but i dont see it appear in my mmi or fis but i do see the small icon in my clock that its active.

nevermind, got it, however this setting:
eading Control Config>heading_control Byte 35>Bit 0

realises pre sense faults which i cant remove. What is this setting for? If i dont set it the ALA also works.

hmmm, are you sure? It's what allows the camera to recognize lane markings
