Computer system upgrades
Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible in an Audi A4 2017 to unlock locked features like cruise control or assisted driving in the main computer. I did this at a garage on a different German brand and it worked quite well.
my current A4 seems to only have a speed limiter without cruise control and has all the set up for assisted driving without the assisted driving option to be turned on.
Would be great if you could point me in the right direction on this forum to get educated on this.

Depending on the type of camera you have in the windscreen, you'll be able to code in
High Beam Assist
Traffic Sign Recognition
Automatic Lane Assist (new steering stalk)
Cruise Control (new steering stalk)
Active Cruise Control and Traffic Jam assistant need the additional radars in the bumper.

You need to parametrize the A5 module (multifunction camera). Not possible via long coding, adaptation or basic settings.
VCDS / OBD11 does not have this functionality.
So with VCP you flash the parametrization file responsible for Traffic Sign Recognition.
You can also parametrize with ODIS, don’t know how (I suspect via a hidden SVN and online account.. or manually via xml file)
