Wondering if anybody has tried mixing in some E85 with regular pump fuel (91/93) to try to achieve higher octane mixtures? Especially those with ECU/piggyback tunes. Around here I can only get 91, and with Audi listing that as the minimum for our cars (I think), I was wondering how others have fared running 93+.

93 is the standard Premium octane in many Northeast states. The difference between 91 and 93 is negligible and doubtful would be noticeable to the driver.

I didn't know you could mix E85 and 93 for more octane! Does it harm the engine in any way?
