Another thing to add. I'm not sure if the 2017 is this way but the 2018 has provisions for a clutch peddle that I could reach up through to fish the OBD wire through without taking the inside apart. I'll to a more proper write up later but there are better ways to bring the wire through without it being a noticeable cut in the gromit.

That makes sense now. Thanks!

A part of the same rubber that the original install instructions, this little nipple here is a better a better hidden way to get the OBD 2 wire into the car. Take a razor and slice length wise on the bottom of this nipple. Make it about an inch long as it will make the job easier. Now take a coat hanger and feed it into the cars interior.

This is where it is in the inside. The x circled in green pokes through easy but will be where the green arrow is. I bent the coat hanger over and duck tapped the small end of the OBD wire onto the coat hanger on the inside of the car and slowly pulled it through into the engine bay. With the cut on the bottom, when removed the cut will not be visible.

Went out on map two with no other supporting mods to get some logs a few days ago. Here's a 0-60 with LC on snow tires for everyone's reference that may be considering the JB4. I'm getting a guessed time of 4.5 time with the stopwatch. Maybe someone with better video skills can get a more accurate time.

Default Check engine

Will the JB4 allow me to clear the check engine if I run the CTS test pipe and would it allow me to clear the engine light if I'm on map 0 and I bring it in to the dealership for an oil change ?

What are the pros and cons of doing this over the APR+ tune that requires no hardware...wiring and is supported by Audi?

My understanding is the APR tune is under written by another warranty plan so if the Audi claim fails it falls on to that.
With the JB you will have more flexibility in terms of the power you want to run and obviously you will get money back when you resell it down the line. Power wise we have seen very little information on what flash guys get out in the field.
