Default Noise in driver seat a4 b9

Wondering if anyone can help? There’s a very annoying noise coming from underneath or behind my drivers seat when turning/cornering! Sounds almost like a decent sized plastic piece sliding from side to side it’s pretty loud and it’s driving me nuts! Tried taking the back cover off my seat to investigate but the clips at the top of the seat are well stuck I can’t take take the cover off! Any suggestions greatly appreciated

When you were searching under the seat, or next time you do, try rocking the seat side to side. Its possible, not likely, that maybe something is loose with the floor bolts.

I have a similar noise depending on where I have the lumbar support set. It drove me crazy for a while after I adjusted it and the noise became apparent. Moving the lumbar support down a bit made the noise disappear, YMMV.

I have a popping noise above my lumbar when I rock front to back. It also pops when I'm turning or stoping fast, it is supper annoying. I took it to the dealership and they ordered a part under warranty (this was a week and a half ago). Waiting for the part to come in and for them to fix. Once I get the invoice, I will post the issue so you can see what they did and the part number.

I've had this issue for a year and previous dealer said it was supposed to be there and could not fix. I've since switched and am getting it looked at during my next maintenance so I'm very hopeful youre able to solve this so i can reference something then!

OK guys it taken 5 weeks to to get the rivets from Germany! They fixed my seat on Tuesday, no popping noise when you move in my seat front to back!

Hi TexasA4Turbo. I searched the internet with the problem I am having with my '21 A4 and found some links to your issue with your A4. It sounds exactly like what I am experiencing in my 8-month-old A4. I'm taking it in to the dealer next week and I really appreciate the fact that you posted the invoice and parts number(s) of your repair. Thanks for your post and I hope if you still have the car that the fix lasted.
