Recall 45e3 on 2017 A4
Driving second week this my A4, the luxury is a big upgrade to my my VW Golf but the engine is so so to the heavy modded TDi. Overall satisfied with my deal.
From very first day I noticed some vibration underneath (most likely from wheels/rubber), I made a service call, got it for today.
Drop off the car in the morning also requested a software check if any update available for MMI.
Got the car back afternoon, it is a warranty complain towards the Pirelly Cinturato p7 (all four tires) have high spots on the center rib = middle tread (fast forward the story next service visit scheduled for Dec.8th getting a loaner car until the dealer sorts out the subject with Pirelli). Weird why they could not just give me some other rubber but this is a story.
Next news, no MMI update available (in Canada) at this time.
Next news (again good or bad) they load the latest software for the car (for more than an hour I was waiting for it), and
the note on the dealers invoice "performed the 45e3 recall as required, criteria 01 and 02.
Now, I can not find anything on the net wth is that 45e3.
I don't mind this is a leased car but still wondering do I am debugging things now for the new A4?
