I just got an 18 P+ and am loving it... although the start stop function is acting a little strange. It stops the engine as it should when I get to a light, but after a minute or so (before the traffic light turns green) it restarts. I've kept the same pressure on the brakes and haven't moved the steering wheel. Is that how it's supposed to work?

Yes. Depending on load, like running the AC on a hot day, the engine will restart whenever necessary.
