Tail lights malfunction

I assume you are talking about the yellow bar that's stuck on on the left light. Never seen or heard of that before, but we also don't get the yellow indicators here in North America where I believe "most" AudiWorld forum members reside. We get red instead of yellow, due to a dumb law about the amount of surface area that a turn signal is required to have, and so those lines are red and blink in concert with the brake light on US & Canadian A4s, and the light hardware itself is different in order to accommodate that change.
Perhaps it is a known issue that more European-heavy forums may have more detail on or perhaps it is a fluke... but either way, definitely sounds like a warranty issue -- I'd swing by your dealer.

Not to go too far off-topic, but I believe the red turn signals are done to make reverse-exporting new cars back to Europe or other regions more difficult. Prices tend to be cheap enough in the US to make this an attractive scheme.
