US License Plate Compatible Mount
Does anyone know if Audi makes a license plate bracket/mount that is compatible with US plates? I got these from the auto shop and the screw holes don't fit with my Colorado license plate - see pictures. The shop claims the dealership drills and puts screws into these mounts themselves which I find hard to believe.

Use self tapping screws. Just make sure they're not so long that they go through the bracket into the grill. I would recommend stainless screws as well so they don't rust and make the plate look terrible.

Thank for the comments everyone! It's good to have the reassurance.
I wish, I'd have the bracket off entirely but CO law mandates both plates be attached to the front and back side of the vehicle. And while it's less likely I'd be pulled over while driving without a front license plate in neighborhoods, I would most definitely be ticketed if I was downtown. With that said, I'd much rather pay a few dollars for some screws than pay $60-$80 ticket(s).
