I tried the car locking switch on the doors still no movement on the Actuator. So is it fair to say i what to rip the gas door off the car

I'll throw one more quibble out there, when washing the car and key in pocket the doors will lock/unlock all the time as the water runs over the touch sensors. Not sure others have experienced this but it's pretty interesting.

@dmski - agreed quite annoying; I now place the key at the far end of the garage when washing .

Water itself doesn't make the doors on my car lock and unlock. It's when I'm passing the wash mitt over the door handles, or drying them. So my fob stays 10 feet away while I'm cleaning the car.

Lol Yes, the neighbors were looking at me like I was retarded last week when it kept unlocking and locking everytime I rubbed up against the car to wash and wax it.

And why not leave the key inside the car while washing it? It won't lock.

LOL. I've noticed this -- drives me nuts! I have another VAG vehicle -- same thing! The neighbors already think I'm nuts so no worries about them.......

If it is the stock security system it won't lock from outside while the key is inside the car. It is written in the manual and I have tested it multiple times. You can test with a friend who will have the key inside just in case.

It's probably been written already... but I hate the electronic brake..prefer hand brake. And the fact that window/door lock is on the door.. When the window is opened during rain it just gets soaked. Why not move it to the centre panel like most car companies do? Shouldn't be any electronics on the door to get wet imho.
AND the paint is absolutely crap. Ok I'm done.
