Hey all... I fell victim to the lovely rear window detachment this past year... I just finished replacing my top with a new one (lifetime rear window warranty), and the ONLY issue I have is with the front window/roof weatherstrip. For whatever reason, I cannot get the sides to sit fully inside the track. I've tried a dull putty knife, flat head... it should just "pop" in there, but it wont... and the windows won't close all the way (a lot of pressure at the top when it should just sit in the channel). I'm having the same problem on both sides - from the first "joint" to the front corner. I'll take pics later, but if anyone has any advice, please let me know. What a PITA...
