paging 2badgers: how is the new CVT.
#2
CVT Good, Non-functioning gas gage bad...
Only 140 kms into the new tranny, but everything is silky smooth (as it should have been).
When I picked up the car my gas gage was on 'E', the warning symbol was on in the Driver's Information Centre, and my Km's to empty was reading '0' - (Taken in full and only a few Kms put on during the road test)
Went to the nearest gas station - took 6 liters of gas. Went back to the dealership to schedule another appointment (tonight)
Sigh - I hope this is the end of a long journey.
Most likely the gas sending unit was disconnected to get the tranny out...

What was your outcome?
Today I took my CVT to the dealer and I received the dreaded "That's the way it suppose to be" response.
I don't know what else to do. If you keep taking yours to the dealer, how do you get them to keep looking at it, every time?
